In response to the pressing threat of El Niño, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) through the Leadeeship of Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua in collaboration with the Pudtol Municipal Fire Station has initiated Oplan Sakdo. This emergency operation aims to mitigate the impact of the drought by implementing water rationing measures to affected households. With water sources dwindling and temperatures soaring, the activation of Oplan Sakdo underscores the municipality’s proactive approach to addressing the challenges posed by El Niño.
