The most common types of public transportation in the municipality include tricycles, buses and jeeps. Tricycles ply local routes from Poblacion to barangay destination. Jeeps usually ply the routes Pudtol-Junction Luna, Pudtol-Sanchez Mira, Cagayan, Pudtol-Ballesteros; Cagayan and vice versa. Public utility vans also ply from Pudtol to Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. While buses ply the route Pudtol-Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Pudtol-Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Pudtol-Baguio City and vice versa.
