Earlier today, the Municipal Government of Pudtol participated in the Tree Growing for a Cause event, celebrating the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary. This year’s theme, “๐‘ด๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’”๐’‚๐’Œ๐’Š๐’• ๐’”๐’‚ ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’Œ๐’‚๐’”๐’‚๐’, ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’”๐’‚๐’Œ๐’Š๐’• ๐’”๐’‚ ๐‘ณ๐’Š๐’๐’Œ๐’๐’… ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’š๐’‚๐’๐’Š,” underscores the importance of dedication to both our environment and our community.
The event took place at the EKB Eco-Tourism Park in Bagutong, Flora, Apayao, and was hosted by the Municipal Government of Flora, led by Mayor Rodolfo B. Juan Sr. A remarkable turnout of 300 civil servants from various National Line Agencies, the Provincial Government of Apayao, and local government units (LGUs) came together to plant trees, demonstrating a collective commitment to environmental stewardship.
Mr. Ruben U. Wacas, Assistant Regional Director of the Civil Service Commission for the Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR), graced the occasion and shared an inspiring message. He emphasized the need for Compassion, Support, and Care (CSC) for our environment, reinforcing the eventโ€™s significance in promoting sustainable practices and community involvement.
As participants planted young trees, they contributed to the greening of the area and fostered a spirit of camaraderie and shared responsibility. This initiative serves as a vital reminder of civil servants’ role in nurturing the environment and the communities they serve.
