Pudtol Mayor Hector Reuel Pascua along with MDRRM Officer Rina Visitacion received the ‘Beyond Compliant’ 2024 Gawad Kalasag Seal of Excellence in Disaster response and Humanitarian Assistance, today December 17, 2024 at the Ion Hotel, in Baguio City.
Pudtol has been an awardee of the prestigious ‘Gawad Kalasag’ for 3 consecutive years following its outstanding rating on the 6 functionality indicators to include structure, competency, management system, enabling policies, knowledge management and advocacy, and partnership and participation.
The Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) aimed to honor LGUs and stakeholders who execute DRRM strategies, responses, climate change adaptation, and humanitarian assistance initiatives.
