LOOK | The Municipal Government of Pudtol formally led the awarding of the Original Certificate of Land Title for Mataguisi Comprehensive National High School to the Department of Education- Schools Division Office (SDO) of Apayao on January 21, 2026, reinforcing the shared commitment of local and education authorities to secure public school properties.
The awarding was led by Atty. Edmar D. Pascua, Municipal Mayor of Pudtol. The title was officially received by Schools Division Superintendent Irene S. Angway, PhD, CESO V, with the support of SDO Apayao Legal Officer Atty. Gerriahzon S. Sebastian, who provided legal guidance throughout the titling process. Also present during the awarding were Public Schools District Supervisor Marizon P. Castillo, PhD.
Special recognition was given to the Municipal Assessor’s Office, headed by Ms. Margielyn P. Iringan, for its indispensable role in the school site titling process. The office provided technical evaluation, property verification, and assessment documentation, which were crucial in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the land title requirements.
Securing the school’s land title ensures institutional stability and supports the continued delivery of quality education in the municipality.
