May 6, 2024, San Jose, Pudtol – A significant step towards revitalizing the swine production sector took place today with the inauguration of the Integrated National Swine Production for Recovery (INSPIRE) facility. The New Cabatacan Multi-Purpose Cooperative proudly hosted the inauguration ceremony, marking the expansion of the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) INSPIRE initiative.
Governor Elias C. Bulut, together with key provincial and municipal officials, spearheaded the momentous event, symbolized by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Among those present were Provincial Administrator Atty. Edmar C. Pascua, Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Ralph Verzon, Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua, Vice Mayor Randy A. Laoat, and officials from the Department of Agriculture.
The INSPIRE initiative is a vital component of the government’s efforts to revitalize the swine industry, which has faced challenges in recent years. Through strategic partnerships with cooperatives like the New Cabatacan Multi-Purpose Cooperative, the DA aims to enhance the resilience and sustainability of swine production across the nation.
