Pudtol, Apayao โ October 7, 2024 โ In a key move to improve waste management and disaster preparedness, the Municipality of Pudtol inaugurated its Sanitary Landfill Cell 2, along with the blessing of newly acquired heavy equipment, including a garbage truck and dump truck, for solid waste management and disaster response efforts. The event took place at the Pudtol Sanitary Landfill Compound in Barangay Swan, Apayao.
Local officials, residents, and key stakeholders attended the event, which highlights Pudtol’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and efficient waste disposal. Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua, who led the inauguration, underscored the importance of proper waste management and its positive impact on community health. The opening of Cell 2 will significantly increase the municipalityโs capacity for solid waste management, ensuring environmentally responsible disposal methods.
