On September 10, 2024, the Municipal Government of Pudtol, in its quest for excellence in Local Governance underwent the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Validation. The event took place at the ECB Jr. Clubhouse in Poblacion, Pudtol, Apayao.
The validation process was led by Mr. Rodel D. Hilario, LGOO VII, our National Validator from Region 1, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Apayao team, under the leadership of Provincial Director Engr. Mayer Max G. Adong. Their presence highlighted the significance of this assessment in determining Pudtol’s compliance with the high standards set by the DILG.
The event saw active participation from key municipal officials, department heads, and local stakeholders, all of whom played a vital role in the evaluation process. The focus was on assessing the Municipality’s compliance with the various key indicators of the SGLG, which include transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery.
Pudtol proudly holds the 2023 SGLG award and is now striving to maintain this esteemed recognition for 2024. The validation process is a testament to the municipalityโs ongoing commitment to good governance and its dedication to continuous improvement.
