Pudtol, Apayao-Pudtol LGU led by Mayor Hector Reuel D. Pascua on Monday, October 28 received two(2) National and six (6) Regional Functionality awards from DILG.
Said awards are a testament of the LGU’s outstanding performance in various governance indicators assessed by the department.
The awards were presented to Mayor Pascua and Municipal Administrator Aprilla Camilot. Cabatacan Barangay Captain Russell Galut also received Plaque of Recognition for being 2nd Runner Up for Search CY 2024 Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award.
The awarding was held at the Crown Legacy Hotel in Baguio City, coinciding
with the 33rd Local Government Month Celebration.
Said accolades conferred include Anti-Drug Abuse Council(ADAC) Functionality Audit CY 2022(National); Peace and Order Council (POC) Functionality Audit CY 2022 (National); Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Functionality Audit CY 2023 (Regional); Peace and Order Council (POC)Functionality Audit CY 2023 (Regional); Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Audit CY 2023 (Regional); Local Council for Protection of Children (LCPC) Functionality Audit CY 2023 (Regional); Local Project Monitoring Committee Functionality Audit CY 2023 (Regional); and SubayBayani Regional Award FY 2024.
With its theme, “WE AMPLIFY! Weaving Excellence through Amplified Partnership, Leveraging Innovative Frameworks, and Yielding Results, said awards are indications of the administration’s pursuit for inclusive progress across the municipality.
Mayor Pascua, in his previous statements, reiterated the significance of Harmony and shared Responsibility as keys to Development and Prosperity.
He attributed the recognitions to the unified efforts of LGU officials and personnel, council Secretariats, and other offices involved being of one mind in public service.
DILG Assistant Secretary for Community Participation Elizabeth Lopez N. De Leon and DILG-CAR Regional Director Araceli San Jose, Provincial Director Engr. Mayer Max G. Adong & Mrs. Merina Cenu LGOO VII/Cluster Head DILG- Apayao were in attendance on said awarding.
