LOOK | Municipal Government of Pudtol through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Rosaline T. Aloy conducted a General Assembly and Development Program of all Municipal Federation Officers yesterday, January 26, 2026, at the ECBJR, Clubhouse gathering 57 participants from various barangays of the municipality. Attendees represented different sectoral groups, including Men Mitigating Violence and Abuse in Apayao (AMMA), Child Development Workers (CDWs), Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Pag-asa Youth Association, Senior Citizens, and Solo Parent Associations, reflecting the inclusive and participatory nature of the activity.
The program began with the presentation of program accomplishment reports covering the Family and Community Welfare Program, Solo Parent Program, PWD Welfare Program, Older Persons Welfare Program, Child Welfare Program, and Youth Welfare Program, highlighting the municipality’s ongoing efforts to strengthen social welfare services.
A series of lectures then provided valuable learning inputs to the participants. Ms. Abigail Anne G. Gonayon, RSW, Social Welfare Officer I, discussed early detection, prevention, and intervention of disability, while Ms. Loraine B. Gumowang, RSW, Social Welfare Officer II, tackled child labor versus child work. Ms. Rosaline T. Aloy, RSW, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, led the discussion on mental health awareness, followed by Ms. Chelzea Kaye P. Collado, RSW, Social Welfare Officer I, who delivered the lecture on road safety education. The final lecture on the roles and responsibilities of officers and members was presented by Ms. Vicelle Barcelon, Social Welfare Assistant, with each session complemented by an open forum for clarifications and discussion.
