On February 10, 2026, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Apayao, led by Provincial Director Marleen M. Guerzon, conducted a site validation of key local government projects in the Municipality of Pudtol specifically the Installation of Streetlights within the Government Center Vicinity at Barangay Poblacion and the Construction of a Level III Water System at Barangay Swan.
Prior to the site validation, the DILG Apayao team paid a courtesy call at the Office of the Municipal Mayor, where they were warmly welcomed by Atty. Edmar D. Pascua together with Vice Mayor Hon. Teresita A. Bulsao, Interim Municipal Administrator Mr. Silver Ian P. Dimaano, Municipal Engineer Darlo T. Arnedo and LGOO VI Norman D. Venus. The meeting served as an opportunity for brief discussions and updates on the municipality’s ongoing development initiatives, fostering collaboration and coordination between the DILG and the local government.
Following the courtesy call, both team proceeded to inspect the project sites. The site validation aimed to assess the status, compliance, and overall implementation of the projects, which are expected to significantly improve public safety, basic services, and quality of life for the residents.
