The Municipal Government of Pudtol, through Municipal Administrator Designate Mr. Silver Ian P. Dimaano, held a coordination meeting for the upcoming Youth Development Session 2026 on February 19, 2026, at the Municipal Administrator’s Office. The meeting brought together key partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure the smooth, organized, and well-coordinated implementation of the activity.
The meeting was attended by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation led by Hon. Lyndll John C. Lorenzo; the Pudtol Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) headed by LDRRMO II Katrina Q. Visitacion; Ms. Michelle Anne A. Bermillo, 4Ps Provincial Link , along with other DSWD personnel; and representatives from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15–Apayao. Also present were Mr. Joey A. Mittay of Pudtol Vocational High School; Administrative Officer II Azaleah T. Iddig of Tawit National High School; and representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).
During the meeting, participants thoroughly discussed the proposed activities for the Youth Development Session, focusing on the suitability of the allotted time, activity titles, and the overall daily program flow. The designation of offices-in-charge for each activity was clarified to ensure accountability and effective coordination.
Budget allocations for foods, materials, and prizes were reviewed, and administrative preparations were addressed. These included the distribution of waivers to parents or guardians, the sending of official letters to school principals, and the checking and preparation of materials to be used during the activity. Tasks and responsibilities were carefully assigned among the participating agencies, while concerns regarding arrival and registration procedures were clarified to ensure an orderly and efficient start of the session.
The readiness of the venue was also assessed, including the availability of water supply with support from the BFP if necessary, as well as arrangements for food preparation. Proposed prizes and awards were revisited and adjusted to better align with the planned activities.
Health and safety measures were emphasized during the discussion. The provision of small first aid kits was tackled, with guidance from the LDRRMO and the Bureau of Fire Protection. It was agreed that each group would be provided with its own first aid kit. In addition, the presence of guardians and teachers at the venue was highlighted to ensure proper supervision and guidance of the students throughout the activity.
Overall, the coordination meeting strengthened inter-agency collaboration and established clear plans and responsibilities, reflecting a shared commitment to a safe, meaningful, and successful Youth Development Session 2026.
